Biography of Charles Aznavour

Charles Aznavour - great singer of Armenian origin. It can be said to date he is the most famous Armenian who know and who admired throughout the world.


His parents were Armenian immigrants who moved to France after the horrific genocide of Armenians in 1915. They intended to move from there to America. But the U.S. denied a visa to his family, and, thus, C. Aznavour became a citizen of France.
